Roof-shaped, low height seal shape of which several, often with different materials, are assembled to form roof-shaped seal sets (Figure D 1).
In principle a differentiation is made between two forms: In form (a) the limbs are in contact with each other and are pressed hard to the outside under pressure. This form produces a very good seal, but generates high friction. In form (b) the pressure is routed via the spine. Here the friction is lower. sealing friction
